legend of Romulus and Remus

Legend says that Rome was founded by twins named Romulus and Remus. They were abandoned as babies and raised by a wolf. When they grew up they vowed to build a city on the hills where they were raised. They quarreled, however, and Remus was killed. Rome was eventually named after Romulus.
