put the original aside, (even in another room) and write your parapharase without looking back at the original source

read the passage that your getting your information from up until you fully understand it
mashup
taking portions of words from multiple sources and combining them and faling to give credit to any of them
recycle
the work comes from your own work that you have done in the past; this may come from assignments from any class; the reader is not informed where the work came from
404 error
this has sources that are broken links either they dont exist or are incorrect
Ctrl-C
this is a portion taken from the orignal source; few words are changed and put in different orders; there is no credit linked to the original source
Clone
this is an exacr copy of someone else's work, there is no credit linked to the source
remix
this is plagarism from multiple sources; the work is paraphrased and put together; none of the sources are linked
rephrase
this is rephrasing that includes the correct way to have in-text citation, but the whole work relies too much on the structure and original wording of the source
aggregator
this is when the material is cited correctly, but almost the wole work is another authors ideas
hybrid
this is work that combines work that is cited correctly, and work that is plagiarized; the writeres intent is to fool and convince the reader that the whole work is cited properly

to record the sourse use: attriution, credentials, and in-text citation
