Exposition- Sylvia moves from the city to a farm. Nature is her only friend Rising action- Meeting the hunter and pleasing him and climbing the tree Climax- When Sylvia successfully climbs the the old pine and realized the beauty of nature and finds the white heron Falling action- When Sylvia goes back to her house and says nothing to the hunter about the white heron Resolution- She realized that her love for nature is stronger than her need for money and the approval of the hunter
