Describe the Convention of 1832 .

Stephen F. Austin led 55 delegates to a meeting where they agreed to send several requests to the Mexican Government. Some of those requests were to resume immigration from the United States and for Texas to be exempt from import duties for three years. In a new move, the convention asked that Texas be made a separate state of Mexico.

Describe March 6- Fall of the Alamo

the Mexican Army advanced on the Alamo. After repelling two attacks, the Texians were unable to fend off a third attack. As Mexican soldiers scaled the walls, most of the Texian soldiers withdrew into interior buildings. Defenders unable to reach these points were slain by the Mexican cavalry as they attempted to escape. Between five and seven Texians surrendered; they were quickly executed. Most eyewitness accounts reported between 182 and 257 Texians died, while most historians of the Alamo agree that around 600 Mexicans were killed or wounded. Santa Ana outnumbered Texan troops 1600 to 300 men. This battle lasted 13 days where the Mexican army killed all of the Texans, including William B. Travis who died young.
