Short Answer: The Daniel narratives clearly displays faithful believers who would not compromise when faced with cultural pressures. What are some specific examples of this from the book of Daniel? How can we apply these narratives to our lives today?

One example of this is Daniel himself. He refused to give in and eat royal food and instead challenged others in a sly way to defend his beliefs. Another example is Queen Vashti. Although the king asked her to come in naked and she knew refusing him would embarrass him, she refused to give in and humiliate/degrade herself in that way. We can remember these stories in times when we feel pressured by society and social media and remember to stay strong and stand firm in our faith. We should not do anything that goes against Gods law.
