The goals of motivation function of HRM involve with helping employees exert themselves at high energy levels. HRM looks to make sure its employees are highly competent, productive, and adapted to the organization.

The staffing function is a vital function to HRM because it is very important to any organization to successfully recruit qualified individuals to fill much needed job positions. Another very important function of HRM is maintenance because once an organization has hired competent productive employees, it is essential to the well being of the company to retain that talent.
