This leads to: - If kodak fail to establish competitive advantage in digital imaging it fails - If Kodak succeeds in building competitive advantage but fails to generate profits it may whish to consider retrenchment. Thereforterm-10e, need to assess the attractiveness of different markets they competes in. Higher profits in Health and Commercial than in Photography. - If primary goal is profit ahead of growth and vision then exit consumer market in favor for health market. In meantime let traditional photo, film and paper and chemicals be a cash cow.
