Types of Aptitude test
Miller Analogy Test
admissions exam for graduate school, 50 items, 100 multiple choice
Readiness Test
aptitude tests used to predict success when a child enters school
adaptive tests
ask harder or easier questions depending on how well you answer the previous questions, sort of personalizes the test for you.
Multiple Aptitude Test
consist of a series of sub-tests that assess several aptitudes at one time. long history in business, industry, and military.
Aptitude
defined as an innate or acquired ability (talent) to be good at something. It is oriented toward future performance.
Specialized Aptitude Tests
focus on exploration of a single ability Ex/ clerical, mechanical, psychomotor, artistic, and musical
T Score
mean of 50 and standard deviation of 10
psychomotor ability
refers to ones capacity to perform body motor movements ex/ grip/strength, hand eye coordination
