AN Agreement signed by British and American leaders that stated the United States of America was a free and independent contry

American intellectual, inventor, and politician. He helped to negotiate French support for the American Revolution.

Popular Sovereignty

Basic principle of the American system of government that asserts that the people are the source of any and all governmental power and that government can exist only with the consent of the governed.

George III

English monarch at the time of the revolution. He was the main opposition for the colonies due to his stubborn attitude and unwillingness to hear out colonial requests/grievances.
