House Majority Whip
Duties: - Assist the floor leader - Ensure member attendance - Count votes - Generally communicate the majority position
Senate Majority Leader
Leads the majority party in the Senate and has a great deal of power of the legislation. He/She also manages and schedules the legislative and executive business of the Senate.
House Majority Leader
Role is defined by history and tradition: - Schedules legislation for floor consideration - Plans legislative agendas - Consults with members - Works to advance goals of majority party
House Minority Whip
Same duties as the majority whip just works for the minority.
Senate Minority Leader
Serves as the chief spokesperson for his/her party.

President Pro Tempore of the Senate
Elected to position in the Senate (usually the oldest member) and is mainly honorary.
Senate Minority Whip
The fourth ranking member of the Senate whose job it is to gather votes on major issues among members of the minority party.
Speaker of the House
The principal leader of the House or Assembly.
House Minority Leader
The principal leader of the minority caucus (basically the same duties as the majority leader just with the minority).
Senate Majority Whip
The second ranking member of the Senate whose main job is to gather votes on major issues.
President of the Senate
This is the vice president. He/She does not vote unless the vote of the Senate results in a tie.
