How will you take Career Project quizzes?
Quizzes can be taken anywhere by logging into Webcourses. They will only be open on one day during a set window and have a set time limit. Only one question will be shown at a time and I can't go back and change answers
According to the course Syllabus, if you miss a quiz or assignment, how do you make them up?
Missed quizzes and assignments can ONLY be made up in the event of a serious and documented medical/famil emergency or UCF-snactioned event so I need to make sure I take them when scheduled.
There are five modules in your Career Project; four instructional modules and a reflection essay. What will you be doing in the fourth module (Part 2)?
NOT: - Compiling what I did in the first three modules to create a Career Action Plan. The goal of my plan is to secure a job that satisfies my targeted career goal by the time I graduate. - Setting my career goal - Looking back on the story that created and told to see how a past failure can help reinforce all the things I've accomplished that make me qualified for my target job

According to your course Syllabus, how many class sessions are you required to attend in-person this semester?
None, the class will be conducted entirely online and there are no "in-person" class attendance requirements. Instead four pre-recorded lectures will be posted to Panopto Videos during the semester.
According to the course Syllabus, how do you calculate your grade?
Add up total points and divide by 200 (the total points available in the class). Yes, that's it. It really is just simple division.

By clicking the "Career Project" icon on the course home page. This takes you to a course schedule with links to each module and assessment deadlines
Why are there "Concept Surveys" in the career project instructions?
Concept Surveys are ungraded assessments that help "personalize" the lesson content and make preparing for quizzes, completing the assignment, and relevant activites easier
If a student is negatively impacted (misses a quiz or assignment deadline) by contracting COVID, what should they do?
Email a copy of your testing receipt to the class email that shows your name, a date, and positive test result

According to the Career To-DO List Activity List, how many job shadows can you do for points?
Job Shadows are a great career development activity, however that activity is not on the Activity List
What happens if you fail to submit the minimum number of points for the first deadline of the Career To-DO List assignment.
You will lose your points (including any that were submitted in earlier weeks and approved prior to the first deadline!), and will only be able to earn a max of 20 points in total for the assignment
What happens if you submit MORE than 20 points for the first Career To-DO List assignment deadline?
You will retain all approved points and can do up to another 20 points of activity in the second part of the assignment, possibly earning MORE than 40 points for the assignment

What is/are the deadline(s) for the Career To-DO List assignment and what do you have to do?
The Friday of Week 7 @ 5:00pm AND the Friday of Week 13 @ 5:00pm; Submit a minimum of 20 points of activity by the first deadline and a total of 40 points by the final deadline
Each individual activity that you submit for the Career To-DO List assignment must include a Verification Form that is filled out COMPLETELY (including an original student signature AND real explanations for parts 2 and 3 of the form, not just an incomplete sentence or broken thought...) If your submission does not include a properly completed Verification Form, your submission will be denied.
