Unauthorized zone transfers

Unauthorized transfer of DNS information from a DNS server

DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions)

Uses digital signatures to provide security for DNS communications and helps to minimise the likelihood to man-in-the-middle attacks.

DNS poisoning

An attack that substitutes DNS addresses so that the computer is automatically redirected to an attacker's device.

ARP poisoning

an attack that convinces the network that the attacker's MAC address is the one associated with an allowed address so that traffic is wrongly sent to the attacker's machine
