Dorsal Cavity
The Cranial Cavity
Contains the brain, eyes, and ears
The Spinal Cavity
Hold the Spinal Cord
The Space Between the Arachnoid Mater and The Pia Mater
Is filled with Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF), which flows throughout the Central Nervous System (CNS)
If a casualty has clear yellow fluid leaking from the ears, nose, eyes or mouth
It is probably Cerebrospinal Fluid and indicates a skull fracture
Three Layer of connective tissues are
Outermost Layer: Dura Mater Middle Layer: Arachnoid Mater Innermost Layer: Pia Mater
Dorsal Cavity
The dorsal cavity contains the brain and spinal cord, which are the organs of the Central Nervous System (CNS). Like the vental cavity, the dorsal cavity is divided into smaller cavities: THE CRANIAL CAVITY and THE SPINAL CAVITY
The Brain and Spinal Cord
are covered by three layers of connective tissue called the meninges
