setting- a-z backyard summary- the professor sees 2 girls and a young boy squeezing through a hole in his backyard. the egypt gang make temple for nefertiti

setting- antique store and april's apartment summary- april goes to say thank you to the professor (julian huddleston) and she sees mrs. chung working there. She sees an alabaster that the professor's wife gave him. april gets an invitation to palm springs with dorothea and nick but april says n0.

ch23 Christmas keys

setting- april's apartment summary- the professor tells the egypt gang how his wife (anne) died and how he found out about the egypt game. he also answered the oracle about security. april and melanie (not said but hinted) that they should change it to gypsies.

ch. 8 prisoners of fear

setting- before halloween summary- a little girl got murdered and ppl suspect it's the professor. all of the kids have to stay indoors and the egypt game work on their egypt costumes.

ch4 the egypt girls

setting- casa rosad; library; egypt summary- the girls play for the whole month of august. they play paper dolls, go to the library, and babysit marshall. one day april finds a book about egypt in the library and become obsessed. they also worry about the first day of school. melanie wants april to not wear her fake eyelashes and april is scared of being new to everything. the girls find a bust of nefertiti and start the egypt game

ch2 enter april

setting- casa rosada; antique shop summary- april was sent away by her mom, dorothea to live in the casa rosada with her grandma, caroline. april looks up to dorothea and wants follow her sophisticated ways.caroline talks about the rosses' and leaves. april buys fake eyelashes, goes to the antique store, and says that she is a reincarnation of an egyptian high priestess.

ch7 neferbeth

setting- casa rosada; school summary- elizabeth chung moves into the casa rosada. she is 9 and has 2 younger sisters, but april doesn't like elizabeth because 9 is to young. melanie wants elizabeth to join egypt with them but april says no. they still hang out with her and protect her at school because they start to like her and find out that her side profile looks like nefertiti so they invite her.

ch 13 moods and maybes

setting- egypt summary- april gets a letter from her mother saying that she got married to her agent, nick and she sent her stuff to the casa rosada. caroline shows empathy for april but april rips the letter and lashes out on caroline. the egypt gang finish their hieroglyphiccs and hide it.

ch 15 the ceremony for the dead

setting- egypt summary- elizabeth's parakeet dies so they have a ceremony and later toby does research on umification and thats what they do. marshall says someone is watching them but says nothing.

ch5 the evil god and the secret spy

setting- egypt summary- they go back to egypt, clean of the place, and make the shed their temple. melanie gets nervous though since the professor might be able to see them playing but april says he probably doesn't even use the window anymore. they make marshall a young pharaoh and the girls are isis. they are supposed to protect him from the evil god, set. little do they know, the professor is watching them.

ch20 fear strikes

setting- egypt and melanie's house summary- april decides to babysit marshall while melanie and the rosses go out. april and marshall go to egypt since april left her math book there and she get's nervous/scared. while she's getting out of egypt someone tries to choke her and she hears a yelp for help and rescuers arrived later.

ch 11 egypt invaded

setting- halloween night summary- the egypt gang see a figure while the do their ceremony

setting- in egypt summary- toby = ramose hieroglyphic = owl ken = horemheb hieroglyphic = bloody sword melanie = aida hieroglyphic = bird april = bastet hieroglyphic = a cat elizabeth = nefertiti hieroglyphic = a heart marshall = marshamosis hieroglyphic = double crown.

ch3 enter melanie and marshall

setting- melanie's apartment summary- melanie invites april for lunch. april meets melanie's mom (sharp, neat, not easy to fool) and marshall. the girls go to melanie's room and april finds some paper dolls in a dull looking book. they later play for a while.

ch21 the hero

setting- police station and april's house summary- april and marshall go to the police station. marshall finds the guilty person (mr.shmitt's cousin) april and marshall are in the papers. marshall grows up in a way (doesn't use security as much) professor was the one who yelled for help and saved them and is innocent.

ch 16 the oracle of thoth

setting- school and egypt summary- the egypt gang learns about oracles and does one in egypt. they pull sticks and ken gets to ask the question for thoth

ch6 eyelashes and ceremony

setting- school and egypt summary-melanie steals april's eyelashes, but april still sweeps her hair up and wears a fur stole. at first the kids make fun of april but melanie stands up for her, and soon the kids accept her. they egypt gang still play on the weekends and made an altar for set and a clay bust. their main altar is nefertiti but call her isis since she's a goddess and not a queen.

ch 17 the oracle speaks

setting-egypt summary- they check the oracle and there is a response. they try figuring out who did it and some suspect that it was toby.

ch18 where is security?

setting-egypt summary- marshall loses security and asks the oracle and everyone knows he won't get an answer so everyone is freaking out, but toby is freaking out more then the rest.

ch19 confessions and confusions

setting-egypt and school summary- toby tells melanie and april that he wrote the answer to the oracle and he saw a shadow in the alley nearby. the oracle actually answers and marshall finds security.

ch 10 the return to egypt

setting-halloween night summary-the egypt gang leave the trick-or-treat group and talk with ken kamata and tony allivar before sneaking to egypt

ch 12 elizabethan diplomacy

setting-halloween night summary-the figures turn out to be toby and ken, and elizabeth invites them to the egypt game and tony and ken say yes

ch 9 summoned by the mighty ones

setting-halloween night summary-the egypt game go trick or treating with a chaperone but april decides to have a ceremony on halloween night. Melanie likes the idea but later has doubts
