Sentence Fragment

A group of words that is not a complete sentence; it lacks the combination of a subject, a verb, and a complete thought.

Exclamation Mark

A punctuation mark (!) indicating surprise or importance in a sentence.

Comma

A punctuation mark (,) indicating a pause between parts of a sentence. It is also used to separate items in a list.

Period

A punctuation mark (.) used at the end of a sentence.

Semicolon

A punctuation mark (;) indicating a pause, typically between two main clauses, it is more pronounced than the comma.
