How to arrive ag the Net change by Change orders in line 2 in the G702 Application for Payment?

You may list each Change Order on G703 (Continuation Sheet) as a line item of work, then fill out the G702 (Application and Certificate for Payment) "Change Order Summary" section at the bottom of the page. This will give you a Net Change by Change Orders

Additional note about tax:

You may list tax as part of each line item on G703 or as a separate line item. Either way, the total gets included in the "Total Completed and Stored to Date" (G703 Column G) and then transferred to G702 Line 4. So it is broken down separately in G703 but not in G702.

Mere payment by the Owner for stored materials does not result in?

a deduction from column F. Only as materials are incorporated into the Project is their value deducted from this column and incorporated into column E

Usually, change orders are listed separately where?

either on their own G703 form as a line aigem of work or at the end of the basic schedule. The bottom of G702 can also be filled out.

The amount of the original contract adjusted by Change Orders is to be entered where?

in the appropriate location on the G702 form.

Net Change by Change Orders comes from

the Change Order Summary box below. (See note in G703.)

In G702, the original contract sum comes from

the Project Data. *Exception: If you are doing a Subcontractor variation you will have to enter this manually.
