He enjoyed the museum so much because there was so many different things to look at and do. He enjoyed going to the movie of Columbus and the smell inside the auditorium. Holden didn't like this at all as a matter of fact he freaked out on Phoebe. He told her she wasn't aloud to go with him because she had her big play and she wouldn't want to miss that. He almost hated her for wanting to go with him because it would make her miss her play. Phoebe didn't care, she didn't want Holden to leave without her so she threw his red hunting hat at him and then turned her back on him. That practically killed him, but he didn't speak.

Holden was all about Sally in the cab they were all over eachother and as the date went on Holden became very sick of Sally. But by the end of the conversation he was sick of her and she was crying and very upset. Holden had lost it with Sally and said something he shouldn't have said. Holden was riding the elevator when a man who worked at the hotel offered him a "good time", referring to pimping out one of his clients. Holden being horny says he'll pay. Holden doesn't actually want to do anything when the ***** turns up and is in his lap so he tells her he'll pay her if she just talks to him;she doesn't want to talk. Later that night the pimp turns up and says Holden didn't pay the ***** the full price although he actually paid the original price the pimp told Holden. Holden gets smacked around and is left in his room with another bloody nose and a lighter wallet.

After he does this Mr. Holden reads what he put about the egyptains, since they studied this for about a month. She was very excited to see Holden she immediately gave him a hug! She was so loud when Holden got home that's how excited she was to see him. When Phoebe found out that Holden had been kicked out of school she was a little upset. She smacked him with her fist multiple times. She was very emotional when it came to this. She was also sad because she knew her dad wasn't going to be happy with Holden so she hid her face under her pillow.

Stradlater hit Holden because Holden wouldn't shut his mouth and kept calling Stradlater a moron and multiple other names. Holden felt the need to keep his mouth going subconciously, what Stradlater had said about his brother bothered him.
