- Battalion Chief - platoon duty hours - manage and administer the battalion of a given platoon, and to supervise and direct station commanders

Recruit Services Sections

- Battalion Commander - Regular business hours - all aspects of entry level recruit firefighter training

In Service Training Section

- Battalion Commander - Regular business hours - planning, organizing, and supervising training programs

Quality Improvement

- Battalion Commander in charge of the QI section - responsible for managing and directing QI section - regular business hours - executive level oversight of EMS dispatch and field ops

Metropolitan Fire Communications Section

- Captain and FF dispatchers assigned to MFC dispatch section work platoon duty - Captain duties: supervise MFC dispatchers operations, including training and compliance - FF duties: dispatch personnel, apparatus and equipment, maintaining a status record of all apparatus, staffing and operating the Dept's mobile communication van

Administrative Services Bureau

- Chief Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Administrative Operations Chief Deputy - plan, organize, and direct - through subordinate supervisors - the activities of the Bureau - Implementation of administrative staff functions in accordance with the current policies and procedures as established by the Fire Chief - 3 subdivisions -Accounting, Management, and Personnel
