Lesson 4 Surah Al Baqarah 8-16
بِمُؤْمِنِينَ
(are) at all believers أ م ن مُؤْمِن
مُسْتَهْزِئُونَ
(are) one who mock ہ ز ء مُسْتَهْزِئ
مُصْلِحُونَ
(are) ones who make reforms ص ل ح مُصْلِح
الَّذِينَ
(are) those who
مَعَكُمْ
(are) with you all
يَكْذِبُونَ
(be) (ones who) They lie ك ذ ب يَکْذِبُ
مَرَضًا
(in) disease م ر ض
يَسْتَهْزِئُ
(is) (One Who) He mocks (back) ہ ز ء
مَرَضٌ
(is) disease م ر ض
مَن
(is) who
عَذَابٌ
(will be) a punishment ع ذ ب
آمِنُوا
(you all) believe! أ م ن
تُفْسِدُوا
(you all) do not cause corruption! ف س د تُفْسِدُ
وَ مِنَ Ayah 8
And among
Ayah 14 وَإِذَا
And when
وَ يَمُدُّهُمْ
and He extends them م د د
وَلَهُمْ
and for them
وَ بِالْيَوْمِ
and in the Day ي و م
وَ مَا
and not
وَمَا
and not
وَ الَّذِينَ
and those who
Ayah 11 وَإِذَا
and when
وَإِذَا
and when
بِهِمْ
at them
بِمَا
because
وَلَٰكِن
but
أَلِيمٌ
ever-painful أ ل م
إِلَّا
except
فِي Ayah 10
in
بِاللّٰهِ
in Allah أ ل ہ
إِنَّمَا
indeed only
إِنَّا
indeed we
إِنَّمَا
indeed we
رَبِحَتْ
it was profitable ر ب ح
قِيلَ
it was/ is said ق و ل
قِيلَ
it was/is said قَالَ۔ قَالُوْا ۔ یَقُوْلُ ق و ل
كَمَا
just as
لَّا
not
مُهْتَدِينَ
one who obtain guidance ہ د ي مُهْتَدٍ
أَنُؤْمِنُ
shall? we believe
فَزَادَهُمُ
so Allah increased them ز ي د
فَمَا
so not
الْآخِرِ
the Last أ خ ر
السُّفَهَاءُ
the foolish ones ( those who are crazy ) س ف ہ السَّفِيْه
آمَنَ السُّفَهَاءُ
the foolish ones have believed
الْأَرْضِ
the land أ ر ض
الضَّلَالَةَ
the misguidance ض ل ل
آمَنَ النَّاسُ
the people have believed
قُلُوبِهِم
their hearts ق ل ب قَلْبٌ
طُغْيَانِهِمْ
their rebellion ط غ ي
شَيَاطِينِهِمْ
their satanic ones ش ط ن شَيْطَان
أَنفُسَهُمْ
themselves ن ف س نَفْسٌ
هُم
they
يَخْدَعُونَ
they deceive خ د ع يَخْدَعُ
آمَنُوا
they have believed
ءَامَنُوا
they have believed أ م ن ءَامَنَ
اشْتَرَوُا
they have purchased ش ر ي اشْتَرَی
يَعْلَمُونَ
they know ع ل م یَعْلَمُ
لَقُوا
they met/meet ل ق ي لَقِيَ
يَشْعُرُون
they perceive ش ع ر يَشْعُرُ
قَالُوا
they said/say
قَالُوۡاۤ
they said/say ق و ل قَالَ
يُخَادِعُونَ
they try to deceive خ د ع يُخَٰدِعُ
كَانُوا
they used to
يَعْمَهُونَ
they wander blindly ع م ہ يَعْمَهُ
كَانُوا
they were
خَلَوْا إِلَىٰ
they were/are alone with خَلَی خ ل و
أُولَٰئِكَ Ayah 16
those
الَّذِينَ
those who
لَهُمْ
to them
نَحْنُ
we
نَحْنُ
we أَنَا [singular = I]
آمَنَّا
we have believed
ءَامَنَّا
we have believed أ م ن ءَامَنَ
وَ مَا
while not
بِالْهُدَىٰ
with/in exchange for the guidance ہ د ي
تِجَارَتُهُمْ
ت ج ر
يَشْعُرُونَ
ش ع ر يَشْعُرُ
الْمُفْسِدُونَ
ف س د مُفْسِد
يَقُولُ
ق و ل he says
النَّاسِ
ن س ي / أ ن س the people
