How does Metacognition develop?

For Example: As a student, when we acquire knowledge, we learn to embrace learning and change our behavior to be organized in order to learn better. We start to see our strengths and weaknesses, and the results we get. In result of this: we become aware and understand our thought process; this is called Metacognition.

How can metacognition fuel your growth mindset?

Metacognitive strategies can advance your studies and the way you learn. Students or anyone who practices these strategies gain more progress compared to students who stay in a fixed mindset.

Metacognition Skills:

Thinking about thinking: the inner voice that helps one solve problems, strategize, and self- evaluate performance.
