Gestalt

During the first 75 years of its more that 100 years of existence, the field of psychology discriminated against (a) and (b), as indicated by the very limited number of these individuals who were granted PhDs or offered positions in major universities. During the past 40 or so years, the American Psychological Association, minority organizations, and most universities and colleges have been actively recruiting minorities and helping them enter the field of psychology.
