Trick Banners

attempt to trick people into clicking on them, often by imitating an operating system message, disguise the fact they are advertising messages

communication with the public in order to influence them toward buying your product or service

cost per impression

cost per 1,000 ad impressions (count of the delivered basic advertising unit from a distribution point)

Multi Advertiser

displays three banner ads within one advertisement belonging to three different advertisers, or all three belonging to one advertiser

online advertising

form of advertising using the Internet and World Wide Web to deliver marketing messages and attract and retain customers

web banners

graphical ads used on websites as a form of advertising; designed to get people to click on the ad and to jump to a specific website

Brand Messaging

typically most expensive; advertiser pays for each visitor who does something of value, such as purchase the advertised product or apply for a mortgage

Map Advertisements

use maps to place advertisements and provide additional information about company to viewers, and usually contain: the location of the company, company name, phone number, website, company logo, etc.

Tristitial Advertisements

use the rich media ad format and are considered a multi advertising method
