P=(parentheses). Complete any math inside parentheses ( ) first. If there is a lot of math inside, use the Order of Operations!
PEMDAS: This step is first.
Addition or subtraction. Add or subtract from left to right across the expression, like reading.

E=Exponents are second. Multiply the base to itself as many times as the exponent.
