Cover answers with hand. Then find the word in passage, cross it out and read entire sentence.then choose your own word that fits in the blank created. Next use Poe, or process of elimination. Right answers have synonyms for the word its replacing, and fit contax

Read until you get the main idea. Read first paragraph, then first and last sentence of every paragraph. Then read the last paragraph entirely like the first one
What to do with dual passages
Work one passage at a time. Do all passage one questions first. Then do all passage 2 questions next. Look for similarities when reading passage 2 and one and differences. Save both questions for last
What to do with Charts and graphs
Work the figure look at labels, trends, and the x and y axis. When looking at the axis's also look for the units.
