The process of changing your name includes:
- Change your name with the SSA. - Complete a new dl and ID card application. - Bring your name change documents to a DMV office.
If you need to replace a stolen or damages dl you have to:
- Fill out a dl and ID card application. - Go online or visit a DMV office. - Pay a nonrefundable replacement fee. Before the DMV can give you a temp dl, you may have to give more proof of identity.
