Philo T. Farnsworth
Philo T. Farnsworth is known as the father of television. Although RCA competed with him to make the first television, he was successful in getting the he credit he deserved.
Korean War
The Korean war started when North Korea invaded South Korea. This war was not publically televised or reported on much so people did not know too much about it.
Color TV
The color TV was a major milestone in television history. This television was made so that people could see pictures on television in color
Telegraph
The telegraph was invented by Samuel Morse in 1838. This invention made it easy to contact people who were not nearby and was more efficient than writing a letter.
Vladimir Zworykin
Vladimir Zworykin was a Russian inventor who was hired by RCA to invent the first television. He invented the Cathode-ray tube which eventually led to the creation of the television.
