Triumph of Christ test 7
Since we are sojourning during the present evil age as we prepare for life in the new creation, we should not be surprised by suffering or temptation. If we are obedient to God and delight in Him in the midst of suffering, we will find joy in glorifying God, be more prepared to comfort others, grow in faithfulness, and be more victorious over temptations. As a result, we will have more effective testimonies before the lost world around us. Christ rejoiced even as He suffered unjustly by taking our place on the cross and bearing the punishment that we deserve. We must view our suffering as part of God's perfect will, respond to suffering and temptation as Christ did, and use these circumstances as opportunities to declare the gospel.
