Alaska

The U.S. state that is technically connected to Canada.

Arizona

Arizona is one of the Four Corners states. It has borders with New Mexico, Utah, Nevada, California, and Mexico, and one point in common with the southwestern corner of Colorado.

Arkansas

Arkansas borders Louisiana to the south, Texas to the southwest, Oklahoma to the west, Missouri to the north, as well as Tennessee and Mississippi on the east.

California

California is bordered by Oregon to the north, Nevada to the east, and Arizona to the southeast.

West Virginia lies to the east, Virginia to the southeast, Tennessee to the south, Missouri to the west, Illinois and Indiana to the northwest, and Ohio to the north and northeast.

Indiana

Indiana is bordered on the north by Michigan, on the east by Ohio, and on the west by Illinois,[45] while Lake Michigan borders Indiana on the northwest and the Ohio River separates Indiana from Kentucky on the south.

Iowa

Iowa is bordered by Wisconsin and Illinois to the east, Missouri to the south, Nebraska to the west, South Dakota to the west and north, and Minnesota to the north.

Connecticut

It is bordered by Rhode Island to the east, Massachusetts to the north, New York to the west, and Long Island Sound to the south.

Alabama

It is bordered by Tennessee to the north, Georgia to the east, Florida and the Gulf of Mexico to the south, and Mississippi to the west

Delaware

It is bordered to the south and west by Maryland, to the northeast by New Jersey, and to the north by Pennsylvania.

Kansas

Kansas is bordered by Nebraska on the north; Missouri on the east; Oklahoma on the south; and Colorado on the west.

Louisiana

Louisiana is bordered to the west by Texas; to the north by Arkansas; to the east by the state of Mississippi; and to the south by the Gulf of Mexico.( The state looks like a L)

Maine

Maine is the only state to border only one other state (New Hampshire to the west).

Illinois

The northeastern border of Illinois lies in Lake Michigan, within which Illinois shares a water boundary with the state of Michigan, as well as Wisconsin and Indiana.(There is a bridge that connects Missouri and Illinois)

Maryland

The states bordering Maryland are Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C. to its south and west; Pennsylvania to its north; and Delaware to its east.

Georgia

The states surrounding Georgia are Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama.
