Mass Communication
Any form of communication intended to reach a wide (mass) audience, such as television, magazines or internet sites. Public officials rely on vehicles of mass communication to get the information out to the public.
Computer Mediated
Communication that relies on computer technology (the internet), including chat-rooms, email, discussion groups etc...Online messaging is one of the most popular forms of computer mediated communication.
Intrapersonal
Related to the internal aspects of a person; thoughts and emotions. Intrapersonal communication helps people better understand themselves and the world around them
Interpretation
The creation of meaning or significance for something. People share their interpretations with others through the use of verbal and non-verbal language.
