What is the difference between a constitutional Democracy and a pure Democracy?
A Constitutional Democracy is going against a Pure Democracy. A Pure Democracy holds a majority vote, despite the minorities. And a Constitutional Democracy protects the minorities from majority vote.
After watching the How I became a Dissident and Life after Communism Videos and discussing, why shouldn't the Government have the power and ability to bring "equality/equity" to its people?
In order to bring fairness in every situation, you have to take from one and give to another. The government defines what people want or need, instead if individuals. Forced equality and giving, does not change the heart.

Studying the issues and casting a careful vote every year., Run for political office, while others may serve in non-elected offices., Such involvement may affect public policies and help establish justice.

What did the signers of the signers of the Declaration of Independence think freedom was and how does it differ from what people today think freedom is?
The signers thought: A tool that could "insure domestic Tranquility", promote the general welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity. Freedom to do what you ought, not just what you want. People today think: Right to do what you want.
