Additive Identity:

(1) Add zero and get your answer

Distributive Property:

(1) Break apart the bigger or tougher number (2) Multiply the number outside by both inside numbers (3) Add the solutions together and get your answer

Multiplicative Identity:

(1) Multiply by one

Multiplicative Inverse:

(1) Take a fractional number or not fractional number and put a 1 underneath (2) flip the number (3) Multiply straight across

Additive Inverse:

(1) add positive and negative numbers together and land at zero

Associative Property:

* this only works with Multiplication and addition* * moving the parenthesis around does not change the answer (1) Move the location of the parenthesis to make the problem easy (2) Simplify if you have x (3) if there is no x, add and get the answer

Commutative Property:

*Only addition and multiplication* (1) Switch numbers around to make the problem easy (2) combine Like terms together (3) Get answer

Multiplicative Property of Zero:

Multiply by zero and get zero
