Brake Pad
When the brakes are hydraulically applied, the caliper clamps or squeezes the two pads together onto the spinning rotor to slow/stop the vehicle. When a brake pad heats up due to contact with the rotor, it transfers small amounts of its friction material onto the disc, leaving a dull grey coating on it.
Axle
Drive axle- split axle with a different universal joint between the two half axle Split Axle- the wheel on each side is attached to a separate shaft
Diagnostic Computer
A device of substance used for the analysis Or detection of auto issues.
Ratchets
A device consisting of a bar or wheel with a set of angled teeth in which a pawl cog, or tooth engages allowing Motion in one direction only
Spark Plug
A device designed to fit in each cylinder of a gas powered internal Combustion engine.
Camshaft
A shaft with one or more cams attached to it especially one Operating the valves in an internal combustion engine
Wrenches Set
A tool used to provide grip and mechanical advantage In applying torque to turn objects.
Engine Block with Pistons
An engine block is an essential part of the structure of an internal combustion engine. It contains the crankcase and all its parts, including gaskets, valves and seals. The engine block contains cylindrically bored holes for the pistons and ways to attach other components such as the cylinder head. It is a solid, sturdy and heavy piece of equipment usually made of cast iron, or sometimes, aluminum alloy.
Oil Filter
Designed to remove contaminants from engine oil
Intake Valve
Intake Valve- in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine that opens at the proper moment
Timing Belt
Is a part of an internal combustion engine that synchronizes the rotation Of the crankshaft with camshaft
Snap on Tool chest
Maker of high end tool equipment for Professional tool users.
Brake Rotar
The disc attached to the wheel in a disc brake.
Crankshaft
The distance the axis of the crank throws from the axis of the crankshaft determines the piston stroke measurement, and thus engine displacement. A shaft which transmits the power developed by the engine to various parts of the vehicle.
Exhaust Valve
a valves through which burned gases from a cylinder escape into the exhaust manifold.
Cam lobe
cam lobes are located on camshaft and control the valve lift.
