They're impositions traumatized the colonists. success; helped to give unify government in a time of dire need and showed us what we lacked DISAGREE with the claim → The AoC was not successful because it gave the states to much control. The states accumulated a lot of debt, to the point that Alexander Hamilton had to take control over entire federal debt by imposing tariffs and taxes.
