Article 2

creates executive branch of federal government (President, VP, cabinet)

Article 3

creates judicial branch of federal government (Supreme Court)

Article 1

describes powers of legislative branch of federal government (Congress), establishes limits on Congress (House and Senate), and details election process of representatives

Article 5

describes the process through which the Constitution may be amended

Article 7

details the method for ratification of the Constitution (9 of 13 states must agree)

Article 6

establishes the Constitution as law, requires all officers of the US to take an oath of allegiance to the country and Constitution when taking office

Article 4

outlines the duties the states have to each other, and that the federal government has to the states, and allows for admissions of new states and changing of state boundaries
