Base quantities and derived quantities
Physical quantity
A quantity that can be measured. They are two types which is base and derived quantities
Examples of derived quantities
Area, volume, velocity, acceleration, momentum, density, force, pressure, frequency, work, power
Derived quantity
Is a physical quantity that can be expressed in terms of base quantities
Base quantity
Is a physical quantity that cannot be derived from other physical quantities
Where does derived quantities come
It is derived from the base quantities through multiplying or dividing them
Types of base quantities
Length, mass, time, temperature and electric current
