Destination Assist

24/7 live agent assistance to locate your next destination or help navigate

Wi-Fi Connect

4G LTE Wi-Fi speeds on the AT&T wireless network. Easily connect up to five (5) devices. Available on select 2020 and later Toyota vehicles. Free for 3 months or 2 GB.

Automatic Start-Stop

automatically shuts down and restarts the internal combustion engine to reduce the amount of time the engine spends idling, thereby reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Remote Connect

by downloading the toyota app, this allows you to start your vehicle from your phone

RCTA- Rear Cross Traffic Alert

can help you when backing out from a parking space. When your vehicle is in reverse and your speed is less than 5 MPH, the system is designed to detect vehicles approaching between 5 and 18 MPH from the right or left rear of the vehicle.

Adaptive Suspension

Maintaining ride height is important when the vehicle is carrying many passengers or a lot of cargo weight. That's why Sequoia's Platinum model features rear pneumatic cylinder height-controlled suspension—allowing you to automatically adjust ride height to compensate for changes in load. And Platinum's electronically controlled Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system offers driver-selectable settings for Comfort, Normal and Sport.

Snow Button

Starts the vehicle off in 2nd gear instead of first. It makes the throttle response more sluggish to avoid wheel spin.

"B" button on gear shift

The "B" position favors lower gears, too, but for a totally different purpose. Just as you might shift a conventional transmission to Low on a long downhill grade; you can shift into the "B" position to increase engine drag and help slow the Corolla while coasting down a hill.

TPWS

Tire Pressure Warning System

Service Connect

Vehicle alerts and maintenance alerts sent to both you and your preferred dealer. Should you opt in to this convenient service, this allows your dealer to contact you when maintenance is required.

Center Differential Lock

When powered each axle requires a differential to distribute power between the left and right sides. When power is distributed to all four wheels a third or 'center differential can be used to distribute power between the front and rear axles.

Hold Feature

Whenever you fully stop the car with your foot on the brake pedal, the MID will indicate the Hold function, allowing you to lift your foot off the brake pedal. The car will stay stopped until you press the accelerator.

HUD- Heads Up Display

a display of instrument readings in an aircraft or vehicle that can be seen without lowering the eyes, typically through being projected onto the windshield or visor.

"S" Button on gear shift

for sequential or standard. If you're driving on twisty country roads and want to keep the RPM up as you wind through corners, the "S" position is where you want to be. In "S", the transmission holds lower gears longer for more power as you come out of the curves.

Safety Connect

helps after an emergency. Drivers can be connected to our 24/7 response center at the touch of a button. In case of an accident, Safety Connect is like an added safety net. This service helps provide quick response and care from emergency service providers.

Traction Control

helps to avoid slippage of the driving wheels by slightly applying the brake on a slipping drive wheel and reducing the throttle to maintain traction according to the road surface conditions.

Tow/Haul Mode

hen towing heavier items like a boat or trailer on hilly terrain, Sequoia's TOW/HAUL Mode selects transmission shift points to help optimize your power

Parking Assist

include multiple sensors on the forward and rear bumpers which detect obstacles, allowing the vehicle to sound warnings and calculate optimum steering angles during regular parking.

Sports Mode

increases the throttle response to help you accelerate faster. It also changes the transmission programming to shift at higher, more performance-oriented RPM than normal. (not good on gas)

ECT Power- Electronically Controlled Transmission

is a function of the redesigned transmission. When pressed, the ECT PWR button will adjust shift points so you can reach higher RPM levels before shifting into the next gear.

Birds-Eye View

is a new feature that helps drivers see nearby objects surrounding your vehicle. It will help you get into and out of the smallest spaces more easily. The system also includes a Perimeter Scan. which displays live, rotating 360-degree view of your surrounding when parked.

PSC- Pre Collision System

it can even help prevent high-speed crashes. Toyota says the Pre-Collision System uses radar to detect vehicles. If it detects a pending crash, the system alerts drivers to brake. Once the driver applies the brakes, the Pre-Collision System helps by increasing brake power

Sports Mode

often tightens up the steering, sharpens the throttle response, and raises the shift points or holds gears for longer on automatic transmissions.

Dynamic Navigation

provides you with the most up-to-date map data, routes and points of interest (POIs) on your embedded system through real-time updates downloaded from the cloud.

Eco Mode

reduces throttle response to help you accelerate slowly and smoothly. It also modifies air conditioning response to reduce the drain on engine power. Driving in this mode will improve fuel economy.

BSM- Blind Spot Monitor

sensor device that detects other vehicles located to the driver's side and rear. Warnings can be visual, audible, vibrating, or tactile.

DAC- Downhill Assist Control

sort of handles the opposite situation, and selectively applies braking force to control the vehicle's speed when driving on a steep or slippery decline.

A-Trac: Active Traction Control

traction control has the traction benefit of locking front and rear differentials, but with less weight. The ABS (anti-lock braking system) will automatically apply brakes a slipping wheel.

LDA- Lane Departure Assist

It warns the driver when the vehicle begins to move out of its lane (unless a turn signal is on in that direction) on freeways and arterial roads.

Rear Differential Lock

Locks only the rear - restricting each of the two wheels on an axle to the same rotational speed without regard to available traction or differences in resistance seen at each wheel.

EPB- Electric Parking Break

used on passenger vehicles to hold the vehicle stationary on grades and flat roads. With electric park brakes, the driver activates the holding mechanism with a button and the brake pads are then electrically applied onto the rear brakes

DRCC- Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

uses a camera and millimeter-wave radar to recognize if there is a vehicle directly in front of you. If there is, the system automatically makes speed adjustments to maintain a safe following distance between you and the car in front of you.

EV Mode

will run the electric motor only. EV Mode allows you to operate the vehicle as a fully electric vehicle at speeds up to about 25 mph for up to a mile.
