Summary
The dad held a gun and a picture was taken before he beat the national guard. He was sent to jail but avoided the war. Ppl in fathers jail were always murdered. He got out of jail and went to see jimi Hendrix play the star spangled banner. Dad came home drunk and passed out to Jimi Hendrix a lot and in the morning feel guilty and tell the son stories. The parents would get drunk and make love. Sometimes the dad passed out during sex. The kid was born on one of the drunk nights. Son says his generation didn't get a war to fight and the father was confused why he wanted one. Father wants to know why son would want to fight for country that tries to kill Indians. Some nights the son listens to his parents make love and it's normal to him. They took a family trip to Jimi Hendrix's gravestone for a family picture in front of it. I'm Indian relationships they fight to the end trying to hold on.
