BLOOD TYPES

If your blood type is AB+

You can give AB+ and Receive All blood types

If your blood type is B+

You can give B+ AB+ and Receive from B+,B-,O+,O-

If your blood type is A+

You can give to A+,AB+ and Receive from A+,A-,O+,O-

If your blood type is O+

You can give to O+,A+,B+,AB+ and Receive from O+,O-

O negative blood

is universal donor- their blood can be transfused for any blood type

AB positive

known as universal recipient because AB positive patients can receive red blood cells from all blood types

B postive

patients can receive blood from B positive ,B negative ,O positive ,O negative donors

A negative blood

can donate to anyone with a blood type of A or AB regardless of the positive or negative however if you have A negative blood can only receive A- or O- blood

O postive

can only receive blood for O positive and O negative donors

B negative

can only receive blood from other B negative donors or from type O negative donors (who are universal donors)

AB negative

can receive red blood cells from all negative blood types
