Boot Options
Debugging Mode
A Windows Advanced Options menu choice used to send debugging information about the Windows startup over a serial port to another computer running a special program called a debugger. (11)
Last Known Good Configuration
A boot mode that is used to boot system up in a configuration prior to the malfunction
Disable Early Launch Anti-Malware Protection
Disables anti-malware protection for booting. Sometimes driver files might be flagged as malware, causing the system not to boot; disable this feature to boot the system to fix it.
Disable automatic restart on system failure
Prevents windows from rebooting after a system crash
Reboot
Restarts Windows. A reboot can also occur using the Restart Start button option
Start Windows Normally
Restarts windows and attempts to boot normally
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Safe mode at boots into Command Prompt instead of a GUI
Safe Mode with Networking
Same as Safe Mode but also boots up NIC
Safe Mode
Use a minimum set of drivers and services to boot the OS.
Repair your computer
Used if system recovery tools are installed on the hard disk. Otherwise, these tools are available when booting from the Windows installation DVD.
Enable Low Resolution Video
Used in Safe Mode booting when video card is suspected to be malfunctioning
Disable Driver Signature Enforcement
allows drivers that are not properly signed to load during startup
Enable Boot Logging
enables startup options except for last known good configuration options
