After the seven years' wars , it strengthened a sense of identity among the colonies. Farmers ventured outside and fought together with other (colonies, strengthing them).

After the war, King George III put trade restrictions on colonies, had to have them pay for the war's expenses with taxes, and had to keep a closer look at colonies, which lead to discomort and the american revoltuion
Why was it so important for New Englanders and Westerners that the French threat in Canada and the frontier be removed?
Because Britian and France were constatly fighting over land in North America and the British to elimiate all French competiton in North America, and wanted the land for themselves
Why did it take Americans so long to push for independence? Why did they finnally take that step?
Because most of them were still loyal to the British Crown, they still considered themself Englishmen. They finally took that step because of being taxed against because of their actions earlier.
Why were the Americans convniced that the British were engaged in a conspiracy to deprive them of their liberites?
Because the British had put stamp acts/ suga taxes and more. The taxes were lower in Britian. They wanted/needed money for the cost of troops in North America.
Why did the British start taxing Americans? Why did they believe heir actions were legitimate?
Because there was a cost of having 10,000 British troops in North America, as well as the cost of maintaining this force added to the enormous debt Britain had from the war, and needed to tax the the Americans for money. It was legitimate to them because the Americans are on the land that the British fought for.

Independence from england and democratic republic. Effect was encourage common people to fight for new government.

It was the Intolerale acts and thr quebec act. (punish americans for the tea party and station troops in americas. These committees kept americans informed about british measures that would affect the colonies.

There was a lack of communication but also the pre-war colonies onsidered themselve separate "states". They had different ecnomies, consitution, cultures, dialets, and relgions. No easy way to send messages.

They found it unfair because they no representation, and paying these taxes cost a lot. They rebelled by starting a movement where they would stop buying goods from Britian

They many many protests in forms of pamphets, boycotts, and spread the news everywhere. They did this because they wanted the British to stop these acts/taxes.
How did Americans perceive British actions?
They thought that they did not have representation, because the British had establishes all the taxes on their goods which was expensive to the Americans. they started to rebel against British actions.
What steps did Britain take to punish Massachusetts for the colonists' acts of resistance and what effects did they have?
They would add more taxes and acts they killed some (Boston Massacure) and placed the Intolerable acts which punished colonist for the Boston Tea Party. The effects only made American more madn and they fought and rebelled even harder.
