Blind Carbon Copy. Email that is sent to more than one person, but the recipient does not see the people that are receiving the email.

phishing
A type of email that pretends to be from a trusted source, but is fake and is used to get personal information.

snailmail
An envelope, letter or package you send through a postal service with postage (usually takes 2-10 days to be delivered)
attachment
An item or file that is sent along with the email, but is separate from the email. Caution: attachments can contain viruses so only open attachments from someone you know.
reply all
An option with reply that allows you to answer everyone that got the email not just the one who sent it.
spam
Emails that are sent to infect the computer with a virus, or contains false offers for free things, or other fake information.

drafts
Messages that you have composed (written) but did not send.

forward
Sending a copy of an email you received to someone else.
Inbox
The folder where you'll view and manage emails you receive.
CC
This is used when you want to send an email to more than one person. The recipient is the first person and everyone else you send it to is a copy.
trash
When mail is deleted from the inbox, it is moved to this folder.

Your [email protected]. The @ symbol is needed after your username, and the email host or provider of the account comes after that (for example: @mischooldeaf.org or @gmail.com
formatting
features you can apply to your email to make it look better such as underlining, bold, italics, and bulleted lists.
