With both hands, grasp the adjustment straps at the lower corners of the visor and pull outward sharply to actuate the starter candle. 6.) With the straps still in hand and head bent forward, pull backwards to secure the Oranasal Mask Cone on the nose for a tight seal. 7.) If wearing glasses, adjust the position of the lenses to rest on top of the Oronasal Mask Cone by moving the sides of the frame through the hood fabric. DO NOT attempt to adjust through the neck seal. 8.) When the neck seal is positioned at the neck and the KO2 Canister is resting on the nape of the neck, remove the hands, checking to see that clothing is not trapped in the seal and hair does not protrude between the seal and neck. When giving oxygen to a small chile, hold the mask in place on the child's face. 11.) Allow the passenger to use the POB as long as necessary. 12.) POB should not be depleted below 500PSI. 13.) When oxygen is no longer needed, turn the valve full clockwise to shut off the flow of oxygen; re-stow the bottle in its brackets. 14.) Notify the Captain anytime oxygen is used. 15.)
