India's IT (Information Technology) sector accounts for one-quarter of all exports but employs barely 2 percent of the national workforce. First, explain some of the reasons why India has had such success in providing "outsourced" IT labor. Second, explain why diversifying the economy is important to India's future.
Businesses from different countries employ Indian IT laborers because it is cheaper to do so. Diversifying the economy can create more jobs therefore extending India's middle class.

Widening social inequalities resulting from China's rapid economic growth are becoming ever more difficult for China's self-proclaimed communist government to justify. Give examples of how China's government remains communist as well as examples of how it has become less communist. What social and economic reforms might be necessary in the next decade and how might that affect the classification of China's government?
China is politically and administratively more communist but economically it is not. Its economy is more of a free market. The communist party remains in control politically. More or less of a a communist society with an open door policy reform might help. This may change china's classification from communist to maybe more capitalist. After 70-plus years of dictatorship, North Koreans at the age of 21 are an average 6 centimeters (2.4 inches) shorter than their South Korean counterparts. Speculate about the reasons for this disparity. What political changes might be required to narrow this gap in future?
an obvious political change that would help is to get rid of the dictatorship (i can't stress this enough: easier said than done) because it is causing famine and malnutrition so the overall health of North Korea's population is at risk.
