**SHORT ANSWER QUESTION** ---------------------------- Is one flag a translation image of the other, or a rotation image? Explain.

Sample response: The flags are a translation of each other, moving only a few coordinate points ahead but NOT changing their orientation or direction. In a rotation image, the image WILL change its orientation its held at and move the points left or right prior to their setting. In simple terms, a translation only moves the location of a image (which is true for this image), while a rotation will change its shape and rotate it into a new position.

**SHORT ANSWER QUESTION** ---------------------------- Describe the image of D first reflected across line l, then across line m.

Sample response: When the image of D is reflected across the line "L", it will appear backwards, placing its curved side first and then its straight back line. When it's reflected again on line "m", it will return back to its original orientation or shape in beginning, with the straight back line first and the curved side second.
