- Automation and Machine learning: quickly can do automatic optimizations and quickly serve custom creative. I saw a case study that apartments.com did using responsive search ads to serve more relevant creative during the rental process and i thought that was genius.

1. HTML5: spans across devices, little animation, and a CTA button 2. Video: VAST, VPAID, MRAID, and TrueView (run all types) 3. Video Companion Ad: always include a companion banner or (side banner) with a CTA button alongside a video ad 4. In App creatives: use mobile app install template to target the right inventory (track mobile app installs with Google Tag manager) 5. Tell me about a time that you worked on an innovative campaign using Google product?
During my time at mediacom I got the chance to work on the M&M's Messages Bag launch 1. S: M&M's was launching a new product with the original M&M's candy however each bag had a different message such as "congrats on that thing you did" or "You make mama proud" 2. T: The objective of the campaign was to drive awareness and consideration of the new M&M's messages bags with a 360 marketing campaign 3. A: My role in the campaign was to lead the YouTube activation. So i collaborated with our digital and Google team to come up with an innovative idea to advertise the messages bags. I briefed the teams on the goals and objectives of the campaign and provided the budget and projected launch date. 4. R: The end result was that we ran a 6second bumper ad along with a 15second non skippable in stream pre roll video spots along with companion banners with the tagline "let M say it for you" to bring awareness to the new product and eventually drive them further down the funnel. The results from this campaign doubled expected sales and the brand saw a 10% growth during the run of the campaign.

Google Ads is an online advertising platform that allows advertisers to promote their prodcuts by bidding to display ads outligning their offerings to potential customers.

I am currently applying to a few other companies with similar roles available however I am still early in the application process so this is my first interview. I am looking for a salary in the 80 to 85K range
Tell me about yourself
I graduated from Pepperdine university in 2017 with a degree in PR and Marketing. After college I landed my first job at creative artists agency as a floating assistant for music and entertainment agents. However I knew i wanted to get more hands on experience at a marketing agency so I went to work with Dentsu Aegis as an assistant media planner. As the assistant media planner 1. I gained experience planning strategic campaigns across all media types 2. I developed my analytical skills by creating wrap reports on campaign performance metrics 3. I mastered my organizational skills by managing and tracking campign budget across couture an parfumes christian dior After Dentsu I was offered a position at Mediacom as an Associate Media Planner for the M&M's account. As an associate media planner for M&M's I took on more responsibility by managing an assistant planner and also getting more face time with our clients 1. I acted as the liason between our clients and our media partners during the campaign briefing process 2. I participated in an provided innovative ideas during creative brainstorming sessions for M&M's 3. I gained experience working with Google ad technology through my leadership of most of our digital campaigns Currently i am the paid media analyst for No7 beauty company under Walgreens Boots Alliance. In my current role as the paid media analyst 1. I create and brief partners for all search, display, and programmatic campaigns for retailer media 2. I provide creative suggestions and filter feedback to our partners 3. I manage the budget, audience and creative version targeting, and make sure everyone is sticking to the campaign timeline In my next role I am looking for a creative and insights focused role and in an environment that encourages innovation. I am also looking for a company that I can stay with long term that will support me in my learning and career progression goals.
Why do you want to leave your current role?
I was originally hired as an analyst with a paid social focus but as I took over the role of my manager who was on maternity leave for the past several months I quickly realized that I really enjoyed the creative and organization aspect of managing digital campaigns. Now that she has resturned there is no longer room for growth in that area and that is what i want to focus on in my next role

Why Google? Whythisrole?
It goes without being said that Google is a leader in pushing the tech & marketing industry forward. Google is always innovative in ways that a breaking down the boundaries, and that is something I think my my interest would align well with who i am as a person and the company cultureas I am always staying up on the latest technologies and im always teaching myself something new. curious to see how we can implement them in marketing campaigns. I am excited about this role in particular because it seems like a position where i would not only be able to bring my creative passion and also leverage my analytical skills as well.

What's your biggest weakness?
My empathetic side. Because I am friendly and try to be kind to everyone that can sometimes get taken for weakness and can cause individuals to try and walk over me in some situations. However, I have learned to tread lightly but carry a big stick in some ways. I am kind to everyone however I can also be firm when needed.

Samsungs campaign to promote Galaxy Note 20. i thought it was very interesting how they used 300 audience segments to push messages customized to the user whether they left an item in their cart or visited a specific samsung web page.
Tell me about a time you used insight to inform a campaign startegy?
Soap & Glory Book the Bathroom Campaign to introduce the iconic 5 bath and body products to the new to self care audience 1. Determine Goals and Objectives: full funnel awareness, consideration, and conversion 2. We used our 1st party data and brand lift studies to distinguished our target audience segments for this campaign and pull out helpful insights 3. We were able to narrow down the women we wanted to target into three catagories: beauty maven, ambitious riser, and mindful wanderer. We used those insights to determine what direction we should go in for creative and create the brief for example if we are targeting a beauty maven (who is extremely knowledgable in bath and body products) then we may want to use different language in our creative. Instead of saying "discover" our new body scrub we would say " your new favorite self care scrub" 4. after providing the creative suggestions and copy points we briefed and collaborated with Roundel to start creative development 5. provide feedback and changes needed along the way and give approval on final
