Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences Theory describes the many different intelligences a person can have. His theory emphasizes that there are many different types of intelligence and each person can possess multiple of them in varying degrees.

This theory is important as it highlights people's different strengths instead of having only one category of intelligence and one category determining if a person is smart or not.

linguistic intelligence

a dictionary would represent someone with a linguistic intelligence as they are able to find the right words to express what they mean like a dictionary has many words to describe

Intrapersonal intelligence

a mirror would represent someone with an interpersonal intelligence as they are able to understand themselves as well as what they feel and want like how a mirror shows a person their reflection and has to do with self discovery

logical-mathematical intelligence

calculator represents someone with a logical intelligence who is better at making and proving hypotheses or quantifying things and a calculator can solve equations

interpersonal intelligence

glasses would represent someone with an interpersonal intelligence as they are good at sensing people's emotions and reading peoples motives and glasses clear someone's vision so they can see others better

Musical intelligence

headphones would represent someone with a musical intelligence as they can discern sounds, pitch tone, rhythm, and timbre like how headphones give a person the ability to listen to music and hear these things

Naturalist Intelligence (Gardner)

this little plant represents someone with a naturalist intelligence as they are able to understanding living things as well as read nature and the plant is a part of a nature and is living
