Jenny from the block Well the story goes when I was 5, I've been living in China with my grandparents for a couple of years while my mom was in Canada studying for her PhD. After she settled in, she went to my grandparents small bicycle manufacturing town to pick me up. After my English teacher at my local kindergarten found out I was leaving, She told me I would need an English name to fit in. She decided _____ would be a suitable name for me. Funny enough when I went to Canada, there was a Vietnamese girl with the same name. I guess Jlo was a big hit for the Asian community. I lived in Canada for 3 years until my parents moved us to Philly. My mom had graduated and secured at job doing research for UPenn. It was a great experience to move into a twin house across the street from a Walmart, and live next to a hotdog stand that was next to a liquor store. Eventually my family made our way down to Chapin, South Carolina. My most found memories were playing the piano and I spent 10 years training classically. It started out as a small hobby but I grew close with my teachers Marry in Canada and Kathleen in Philly. Unfortunately Marry passed away to lung cancer because the basement where she built her studio was toxic. RIP the goat.
