What's your ideal work environment?

My ideal work environment is working in an environment were i will be able to showcase my written and verbal communication skills, including phone skills and presentation skills. Being able to work in a team is where i excel at so I look forward to working within a team.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

I am driven to be the best at what I do and I want to work somewhere where I'll have opportunities to develop my skills, take on interesting projects, and work with people I can really learn from. Some of the most innovative thinkers in the industry work here and that's a big reason why I would love to build a career here. After five years i want to say that I've built lasting client relationships and continuing to further refine the cybersecurity industry standards as the world continues to face new and ever evolving cyber security threats.

Why are you leaving your current job?

I am seeking the intern position at CyberForceQ because my current job does not offer the professional development assistance in cybersecurity that CyberForceQ does nor a chance to attain a full time role in cybersecurity. I have gained the skills that allow me to be a team-oriented player, as well as able to integrate into a strong performance culture that focuses on customer service while being able to multi-task and communicate through my organization. Now I am looking for a chance to further these skills in my cyber security career.

Why should we hire you?

I am very passionate about learning new things especially programing languages. I am team oriented and detail oriented where i strive to work with my team to get the best results.. I am able to multitask while under pressure and communicate effectively in a timely manner. I have core values that make me want to deliver excellent results in insuring that im always customer focused, by going above and beyond my passion for cybersecurity, but it would also be a great personal honor to work with such a great company.

What skills and strengths can you bring to this position?

I have the ability to stay calm under pressure and analyze critical matters at hand to easily and effectively communication technical information within my organization. I have excellent organizational and time management skills to allow for a cooperative and collaborative flow for the best outcomes within a team.

Can you tell me about your current job?

I work as a stocker for Restaurant Depot. My daily routine consists of making sure that products are placed on the shelfs, as well as make price tags using the JSS Systems application. Working within a team I have to effectively communicate with the rest of my coworkers to insure that we are moving at a timely manner since the job is fast paced where we have to handle picking orders and assisting customers in find their desired products as well as provide information on current products that are yet to come. I would also handle some phone calls from customers that are inquiring about their orders, certain products or questions about current sales. I would help train and give feedback on new workers to insure that they are able to integrate to the company culture.

Do you work best alone or on a team?

I work best in a team, where I am able to collaborate with others to insure that the flow of matters are handled from all levels. Having to multi-task is something I am to address in a timely manner thanks to the experience in working in a faced paced environment.

Achieved a reputation for providing innovative, high-quality solutions that include actionable security planning, clear risk management targets, security framework and policy, as well as consistent and predictable security operations. CyberForce Q is the new health care-focused cybersecurity hub in Plymouth Township. This center works with teams from health care industry clients and partners. It is the Michigan Healthcare Security Operations Center.

What projects did you do?

-I had a project for the engineering club where we had to design and build an invention that would help people out. I was voted as the project planner so i took ideas from our group. We voted on the most cost and time effective project. Then i allocated tasks to individual that fitted their schedule. After some time on working the project we made , tested it and presented it in the engineering competition.

Can you describe how you handle tight deadlines?

Deadlines have always been more of a motivational tool. When I work for Restaurant Depot, we often had to work triple time to meet some of the strict deadlines in the position. In the beginning it was difficult, because it was a new experience, but the more I got used to deadlines and what they require, the easier they became, and I suspect I will feel the same way towards any deadlines I may experience in this new position.

Can you tell me about a time when you had a disagreement with a boss or colleague and how you handled the situation?

I once had a disagreement with my boss regarding the placement of workers on the floor. The plan was to have all of the workers in one side to insure that one side was properly done, however this once done before from a manger that came before my current boss. So i informed him of the outcomes of what had happened when my previous boss tried doing that plan, we were able to re allocate workers to the key areas that needed to be addressed from the previous attempt. The plan was carried out and at the end of the day we maintained proper floor stoking levels as well as great and easy flow of customer service thanks to the communication and collaboration of the team.

How would your boss describe you?

My boss would describe me as being reliable when it comes to integrating new workers in training them, and coming in to take over a shift that someone else has called off. I am considered results oriented and a team player thanks to how I communicate with upper management.

How would your coworkers describe you?

My coworkers would describe me as being courteous, results driven, team player and a man who can be counted on when the times.

What is your greatest achievement?

One of my best achievements was building my uncles fence. My uncle had insured his back in a car accident so he let me be in charge of the building process with his two younger sons. After drawing out what kind of fence he wanted and the measurements we had it approved by the city.. So after he choose a fence i placed it on order, while we waited for it to arrive i removed the metal fence that was in place and made the measurements for where the poles and the actual fence would be. I had read up on what tools are needed to insure the digging process went smoothly as well as what products we needed to use to stabilize the fence. So after i went and got the products with my cousins we finally had the fence come in. We started to dig on the areas that i measured and place the poles and corresponding cement and gravel rocks as needed. This project lasted a week since we encountered a lot of rain during that time. My uncle was thrilled with the results and it made me happy to have helped him.

In your most recent role, was there a time when you had to overcome a significant challenge?

There was a time when we received new products that were selling well in other stores that a lot of customers were asking for in our location. I was asked to cooperate with one of my supervisors to collaborate with a corporate individual in redesigning the layout of certain aisles to incorporate the new product and old products as well as implement new stocking shelves. As i worked for this special project i still had to help customers as well as communicating with my other coworkers to insure that this project does not disrupt the flow of the day as much as possible. This part was especially challenging as communication was key to the successful completion of the project in a timely manner. After working consistently for three days we were able to deliver the floor layout plans that were requested of us.

Well, I have great respect for your company's team of talented information security professionals that have redefined the meaning of fostering long term relationships by putting so much emphasis on customer service and still attaining quality and precisioned results. The company is team-oriented so I think my background in working in customer service with a team, as well as my proactive style to grow in a strong performance culture places me in the right fit for the intern position where i will grow through the professional development assistance at CyberForceQ, where I would hopefully attain a full-time role.

Tell me about yourself.

Working full time and going to school full time, i usually spend my spare time on hobbies that i enjoy such as reading, learning Kali Linux and other programing languages. I enjoy playing sports at my local park as well as going out to the mall to relax and walk around with my friends. I try to catch up on the latest news for cyber security on different news outlets. Being a part of Phi Theta Kappa i enjoyed working with the organization to plan events and charities to help our community out. I also like to watch motivational videos that are presented by the National Society of Leadership and Success. I was also part of the engineering club competition where we invented/designed, made and presented a self stirring cup.
