Cricket Rule 1

Closing-out because the accumulated points is what wins the games, each category must be closed out. This is done by hitting it (them) three times. A triple, a double and a single or three singles can be used. If during closing-out, more than three hit, the extras maybe used to add on the total points.

Standard Games

Double in and flying start. In tournaments situations, starting is decided by the consent of those playing. The starting team/player is decided by a toss coin. Once these things are decided, this can be 301-501 or any number ending 01.

Standard Game Rule 1

Doubling out is mandatory. This can be anything from double 1 to double bull. You must double out with exactly what you need to finish.

Double (scoring)

Hitting the outer ring area (Double) scores a double. The scored is twice the number on the board.

Triple (scoring)

Hitting the thin ring inside the point area (Triple) scores a triple. The scored is triple the number on the board.

Cricket (Close)

If your opponent closes the number by getting 3 marks, the area becomes "unavailable for scoring". This is a "Close".

Cricket (Open)

Once you get 3 marks the number is open, and hitting that number will score you points.

Cricket Rule 2

Points cannot be taken from areas where all players have hit three times. Such areas are dead. This applies to the beds numbered 15-20 and the bull's eye. Points maybe taken away from all other doubles.

Summary

To add the total points, player must hit a bed or category three times. All subsequent hits in the area or bed are added to the points are scored as per singles (1x), double (2) or triple (3). A bed or category is dead when all players have hit three times. No points can be added to the total points. The highest points wins the game. The game is finished when all players have closed out all the beds or categories.
