Multiple

A number is a product of that number and a whole number.

Common denominator

subtract fractions with unlike denominators, rename the fractions then subtract and simplify.

Unlike denominators

Add fractions, rename the fractions with a common denominator of two or more fractions.

Common multiples

Multiples that are shared by two or more numbers.

Median

The middle number of the ordered data, or the mean of the middle to numbers.

Mode

The number or numbers that occur most often in a set of data.

Least Common Multiple

The smallest of the common multiples of the denominators of two or more fractions.

Least common denominator

The smallest of the common multiples of the denominators of two or more fractions.

Mean

The sum of the data divided by the number of items in the data set.

Like denominators

To add fractions, add the numerators and write the sum over the denominator.

Difference

To subtract fraction with like denominators, subtract the numerators and write over the denominator.
